Who Dares Swims founder Gerry, is also a certified provider through Autism Swim.
Autism Swim is the international peak body for inclusive aquatics specialising in wandering and drowning prevention for those on the autism spectrum and with any special learning needs.
Unfortunately children on the Autism spectrum are 160 times more likely to drown than their neurotypical peers. Hence Gerry’s desire to provide lessons to help lower this frightening statistic for those members in the local community. Her knowledge and skills can be used not only with ASD students but all students.
One on lessons are available for students diagnosed with ASD from our Bondi. Rose Bay and Waverley venues.
Home swimming lessons are also available within the Eastern Suburbs for families who prefer the convenience of their own heated pool ‘
